46. Buxtehuder Bulle 2016 goes to Tamara Ireland Stone “Every Last Word”

Author, Tamara Ireland Stone, receives the famous Youth Book Prize “Buxtehude Bull” of €5000 for her novel “Every Last Word”, published by Magellan Publishing.

The mayor of the Hanseatic City of Buxtehude, Katja Oldenburg-Schmidt, announced the results on Thursday evening, 31 August 2017, in the Buxtehude „Stieglitzhaus“.

The American author's comment on Instagram: “I’m in SHOCK!! Vielen Dank!!” She was very grateful for the award and promised to come to Buxtehude for the award ceremony.

Tamara Ireland Stone grew up in north California. She loves to travel and has been to places like South East Asia and some parts of Europe. Tamara, her husband and her two kids live in San Francisco, USA. Her first novel is called “Time Between Us” and has been translated into 16 different languages.
